Trace Broyles

Hailing from Richmond, VA, Trace got his start in marketing while attending Monacan High School. In his junior year, he headed the steering committee for one of Virginia’s biggest leadership conferences for students and high school educators, bringing in 1,000 students on a $60,000 budget. Following up the 2018 VHSL Student Leaders Conference, he partnered with VCU to redesign marketing materials for their “Voice In The Classroom” initiative.

Trace joined the Honors College at Radford University in Fall of 2019 and started filming for Radford’s east coast “Responsive, Resident, Real” campaign as well as joining American Marketing Association’s Executive Board running marketing initiatives. Trace Broyles made the transition to Virginia Tech’s campus in the fall of 2020. Immediately plugging in, Trace joined the Leadership Council for the Transfer Experience Living Learning Community managing their social media accounts. Not long after, Pamplin College of Business announced his appointment as one of two Marketing Department Associates, collaborating and working directly under industry leader Donna Wertalik. During his time as an MDA, he has already worked on website remodels, branding design, as well as campaign launches for various Pamplin partners and independent clients. His current work includes a redesigned merchandise collection for Pamplin, launching in the spring of 2022 under the Marketing Department.
