Mia Gaion

Born and raised in Reston, Virginia, Mia Giaon begun her marketing journey in high school while apart of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program that prioritized and emphasized general business and marketing strategy.

While missing the consistent community involvement as a freshman at Virginia Tech, Mia made a conscious effort to lend a hand in helping make an impact in Blacksburg. During her freshman year, she joined Alpha Phi and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Sophomore year, she joined Collegiate Women in Business, was elected Vice President of Marketing of Alpha Phi, and began her part-time job in Marketing, representing a large chain of student housing complexes around the nation. Junior year, Mia took on the role of Chapter President of her chapter, Alpha Phi, became a Pamplin Ambassador, as well as a part of the Junior Marketing Advisory Board. Today, Mia dives into her senior year as a Marketing Management major with a focus in Digital Marketing Strategy, eager to continue making a difference on Virginia Tech’s campus and beyond. She is currently looking to pursue a Marketing role in the Fashion and Beauty industry.
