Emily Larrick

Emily Larrick is a graduate student pursuing an M.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics in the Pamplin College of Business.  She is presently acting as the Marketing Department Graduate Assistant. Before attending Virginia Tech, she grew up in Leesburg, Virginia.

Aside from being a Marketing Department Graduate Assistant, Emily is partaking in a year-long Capstone Project with NASA, conducting market research and hands-on experimentation to integrate Artificial Intelligence research assistants in their organization.  With a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech, she interned with Bluegreen Vacations as a LEAD (Leadership, Experience, Accelerated Development) Intern. As an intern, she enhanced her leadership skills through training, mentoring, and networking with senior leadership and grew her expertise in the resort industry.  Additionally, Emily has been involved in the business world long before attending Virginia Tech, assisting her family in owning and operating Barnhouse Brewery, a local farm brewery located in Lucketts, Virginia.

When Emily is not pursuing her academic and professional endeavors, she enjoys dancing and is an alumnus of The Contemporary Dance Ensemble at VT.  She also enjoys playing doubles tennis and spending time with her friends and family.
