Title: Head of Content and Media
Matt is a 3-time Emmy Award winner and currently serves Head of Content & Media for the NBA 2K League.
While still a student at Virginia Tech, Matt began his career working at the legendary George Michael Sports Machine (and is deeply saddened that the older he gets, the more he has to explain that he didn't work for the guy who sang "Faith"). After graduating he stayed in Blacksburg as the first video producer for hokiesports.com. A year later he moved to Turner Broadcasting in Atlanta where he spent 11 years working across multiple networks and platforms writing, producing, and directing on-air creative, hosting shows and branded content segments and, perhaps most proudly, being a founding member of the award-winning Creative Services Sports Unit (CSSU).
In 2011 Matt relocated to New York City where he initially worked for Maggievision Productions producing content for ESPN, the ESPYs, and NFL Honors, before he took a role at Screenvision Media as SVP/Executive Creative Director building and running their "40 Foot Solutions" creative brand studio. Matt then joined the NBA in late 2018 where he oversees all content, media and broadcast for the NBA 2K League, the NBA's professional Esports league featuring the best NBA 2K players in the world.
