Field Practicums

Students wishing to pursue the field practicum class must have a company which will provide the internship experience. The Marketing Department does not provide internships for course credit. However, companies often contact the department with internship opportunities therefore, it is recommended to periodically to check the Marketing website for updates.

Marketing 4404 Field Practicum allows students to obtain course credit for internship experience such as, application of marketing concepts and theories to a specific business approach. On-site performance of marketing activities and a written analysis of the firm's marketing strategy and execution are required to receive credit. Students must have junior standing and completed MKTG 3104 prior to taking MKTG 4404.
