Katie Kantz

Katie Kantz is a junior majoring in Construction Engineering Management under the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech. She grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before heading to Blacksburg to continue her studies.  

As a Marketing Department Associate, she works with a team of other students to update and improve the Virginia Tech Marketing website.  In addition, Katie works to execute the week of Homecoming at Virginia Tech. Under this role, she plans events from start to finish including kickoff and parade, as well as manages the Homecoming Court which consists of 12 students. 

Outside of Virginia Tech, Katie enjoys hiking all the local trails in Blacksburg, cooking and baking, hanging out with friends, and watching the Steelers play football.
