Anna Jones

Anna Jones is a junior pursuing a degree in Marketing Management with a concentration in Digital Marketing Strategy (DMS) in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech. This is her third semester as a SMAB member, serving as President alongside Co-President, Taylor McGinnis. Before attending Virginia Tech, she grew up in Huntsville Alabama in a Hokie family, as her dad played football for the university.

In addition to serving on the Student Marketing Advisory Board, Anna is a member of the Pamplin Dean’s Advisory Board of Students (DABS), where she works alongside the College of Business Deans to help support the development of Next Gen Pamplin and enhance the undergraduate student experience. She has been a member of Hokie Ambassadors for three years, giving campus tours at Virginia Tech and served on the 2025–2026 Executive Board as Director of Evaluations. Anna also works as a Pamplin Teaching Assistant for Marketing Management (MKTG 3104) under Carolyn Kogan where she supports faculty and mentors students. Grounded in her faith, she leads a FOCUS Bible Study and actively participates in the communications and liturgy committees within Catholic Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech.

Her professional experience includes internship roles with Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) as a Marketing and Product Intern since June of 2025, as well as Whitespace Innovations and Synovix Inc as a Marketing Intern in the Summer of 2024.

Outside of the Student Marketing Advisory Board, Anna enjoys baking, as she sells macarons for weddings and events, playing tennis, working out, and spending time with her family and friends.
