Nathan Lavinka

Nathan Lavinka

Nathan Lavinka is a sales manager at Rippling.  He has led several strategic initiatives focused on their standalone products.  Based on the success of these initiatives, Rippling rolled these sales processes out to over 200 sales professionals.

Prior to Rippling, Lavinka was a sales manager at CS DISCO and an individual contributor at Carta and Justworks (President's Club, AE of the Quarter).

Before getting into SaaS, Lavinka worked 10 years in outside sales.  He worked his way up to lead a team of 22 sales professionals across 5 states and continuously exceeded his annual multi-million dollar quota.

An active alumni, Lavinka currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association (VTAA) Board of Directors and was a member of the Virginia Tech Foundation Board of Directors.  He was instrumental in restructuring the VTAA Board and is the founder of the Alumni Big Event where alumni chapters across the country participate in "One Big Day. One Big Thanks."

A 2011 graduate with a B.S. in Marketing Management and B.A. in Communication, among his many activities as an undergraduate included:  Class of 2011 President, Co-Director of The Big Event, 2010 Homecoming King, Chairman of the Commission on Student Affairs, G.E.R.M.A.N. Club, Pamplin Ambassador, Business Horizons, Hokie Ambassador, Student Alumni Associates, Order of the Gavel, and Omicron Delta Kappa. 

He currently lives in Richmond, VA with his wife, daughter and goldendoodle.
