Prior to joining Lansinoh, Julie was the Vice President of Proprietary Brands at Bluemercury, Inc., overseeing all aspects of Bluemercury's three prestige brands. She is passionate about building brands and developing cross-functional teams to drive growth and profitability. She has built her career working on early-stage CPG brands delivering innovation, compelling marketing campaigns, and strategic long-term plans. She was previously the Senior Director of Marketing at The Honest Company, where she led the Beauty Business Unit. She was brought on to relaunch and reposition The Honest Company's beauty category, serving as a general manager for the business, building a long-term integrated business plan.
Prior to moving to the West Coast to work at Honest, Julie was the Marketing and Sales Director at Mars Symbioscience, the health and well-being idea incubator for Mars, Inc. Earlier in her career, she fostered her love of brand marketing and social responsibility when she spent six years in global marketing at Burt's Bees, the leading natural personal care company, and two years at Godiva Chocolatier.
Julie is a 2003 graduate of Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business with a Marketing Management degree. She received her M.B.A. with a Marketing concentration from Rutgers University.
