Sales Competition Team
Have you ever thought about putting your sales and management skills to the test? Were you a member of DECA, Future Business Leaders of America, or any other career-focused student organizations in highschool and want to continue your skills development or competition experience through your college career?
Virginia Tech’s Sales Competition Team provides an exciting and challenging opportunity to apply your learned professional sales know-how, gain exposure to leading corporations, and develop key leadership skills. Our student members travel to compete in various national sales competitions each year against top university professional sales programs throughout the country and even compete for cash prizes.
Ready to take your business education to the next level? Get started by attending one of our weekly meetings:
Weekly Meetings
Throughout the school year, team members meet weekly on Tuesday evenings in Pamplin from 5:30pm-7pm to work on role plays, sales management case simulations, and speed sell drills.
VT students from all majors who are interested in joining the team or simply want to workshop their sales skills can drop in to any weekly meeting. Participation is highly encouraged, but we welcome any student that just wants to observe skill development exercises.
For sales team meeting location any questions regarding the Sales Competition Team reach out to Brian Collins at collinsbr@vt.edu.
