Biography

Bingqing Li is a Ph.D. student in Marketing at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. Bingqing’s research interests lie in online user-generated content, where she applies machine learning tools to understand consumer behaviors from large-scale, unstructured data. Also, she is interested in studying how consumers react to the rapidly-changing technological and social environments.

Before starting her Ph.D., Bingqing worked as a digital marketer at Infineon Technologies, focusing on B2B marketing and digital transformation of marketing in the semiconductor industry. 

Bingqing received a B.A. summa cum laude in Physics and Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
