Biography

Mark comes to the Pamplin College of Business here at Virginia Tech with over 25 years of professional, hands-on experience in the B2B sales world. Mark graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York with both his BA and MBA and has held numerous sales leadership positions in marketing, sales management and business development. In his time with SCA Tissue and Morcon, Mark developed customer bases both domestically and internationally utilizing his relationship building and sales expertise. 

In his role as Sales Professional in Residence while at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, Mark taught courses in Sales Management and Personal Selling and Negotiating, along with Fundamentals of Marketing, Business to Business Marketing and Fundamentals of Sales. He worked closely with the students to develop a Student Sales Club that competed at national collegiate sales competitions as well as establishing the Eta Rho Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon. While in his role of Sales Professional in Residence, The College of Saint Rose launched a Sales Management Major along with a Sales Minor, bringing the Sales Program from a sales concentration to a standalone major.
