This series comes out of the MKTG 3134 Personal Wellness and Professional Success class, and it’s all about real, student-led conversations on what it means to thrive in college, the workplace, and beyond. During the series, students explore key topics surrounding college well-being and goal setting. Each episode shows research and reflection on themes including: the power of social connection, social comparison theory, the impact of social media on mental health, dopamine: how it works and how to cultivate it naturally, work-life balance, SMART goals and personal development, atomic habits, strategies for stress management.

The entire series is 100% student-produced—from concept to final cut. To bring creative ownership to the project, each group developed a unique identity within the podcast series, choosing license-free music and group names to frame their segments. This semester’s featured groups include Entering Sandman (5 students), Dream Team (5 students), and Feel Good Friday (4 students). Production support comes from Jackie Mitchell, graduating senior and current TA, who assisted with editing, intros, and uploading episodes to our platforms. At the start of the semester, students who chose to record their voices signed release forms, while those who preferred to stay off-mic contributed behind the scenes by creating Instagram reels, carousel posts, and YouTube thumbnails to promote the series.

The result is a fully student-led project that not only deepens understanding of wellness and personal growth, but also builds real-world experience in media production, teamwork, and content strategy.
