Melanie Vieyra

Melanie Vieyra is a senior pursuing a dual degree in Marketing and Spanish. She grew up in Northern Virginia, right outside Washington DC. Marketing has always been an area of interest, but it wasn't until Melanie's sophomore year, when she studied abroad in Spain, did she develop a passion for the Spanish language and culture.

In addition to being President of JMAB, Melanie is involved with many organizations at Virginia Tech including a professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, where she serves as Vice President of Professional Development. She is also a mentor for the Pamplin Global Mentorship program and works with many international and exchange students in their transition to Virginia Tech. Aside from academics, Melanie enjoys traveling and discovering new places. She also enjoys working out, practicing yoga, and other mindful activities.
